Portuguese India Collection (1882 - 1962)
| A collection "in progress" covering the
post-classic to modern period, mostly on Minkus pages. Total of
421 stamps with, in some cases, both mint and used examples of the same
stamp. Some of the unused stamps are without gum (mostly the early
issues to about 1905), and a few others are partially stuck to the album pages.
Thins and other faults can be expected on the earlier issues.
Total Scott value is about $335, using the 2002 Classic and the 2001 regular catalogs. (Early unused stamps without gum* have been valued at 50% of the mint price or the used price, whichever is less. Hinged stamps after after 1949 have been valued at 60% of the never hinged price.) * - except when noted as issued without gum in Afinsa |
