Trieste Zone B (1948-1954)

1918 - Annexed by Italy.
1943 - Fiume occupied by Germany (September).
1945 - Occupied by Partisans on April 30, then under Allied military
             occupation.
1947 - Free Territory of Trieste (FTT) created under UN auspices.
             "Temporary" division into Zone A (US & British administration)
             and Zone B (Yugoslav administration).
1954 - Zone B incorporated into Yugoslavia
