Netherlands (1945)

Laren Provisional Card    -    Due to a shortage of 5 cent cards, the Laren postmaster authorized the revaluing of the 7½ cent cards in the summer of 1945.  It is believed that about 1,000 cards were issued, but very few have survived.  [See The American Philatelist, Dec. 1967]

Rotterdam Liberation Overprint    -    Exactly one year later the card was franked on the reverse and mailed to England.
